Hi, I’m Heather Sutherland — owner, stylist, and the heart behind It’s A Vibe Salon in El Segundo. With over 18 years of experience in the beauty industry, I’ve built my career around making people feel confident, beautiful, and truly seen. My journey began in Orange County, where I trained and worked in elite salons before returning to my hometown of El Segundo to raise my family. After taking time off to be a full-time mom and active community volunteer — serving on the PTA, Ed! Foundation, School Site Council, and more — I realized how much I missed the creativity, connection, and joy that come from working behind the chair. It’s A Vibe was born from that passion — a welcoming, laid-back salon that’s all about good energy, real conversations, and hair that reflects your vibe.
